 This
Spring Coach Bill Gonzalez (WHG Vice President of
Development)led the Palm Heights Hot Shots to an
8-2 record with plenty of barn burning games that were
decided in the last seconds. The team consists of kids
10 years old and younger who make a promise not to use
drugs. Coach Gonzalez talks to the kids about the
dangers of doing drugs before each practice and
encourages kids not to
do drugs.
The team is sponsored by the
San Antonio Spurs and the City of San Antonio Parks and
Recreation. Coach Gonzalez has been coaching in the
league for 5 years and also coaches a soccer team each
year along with his brother-in-law Armando Ibarra.
